I was baptized in the Methodist Church (later the United Methodist Church). This church is within a 8 mile bicycle ride. I sing bass in the choir there.

What I could possibly say about the first United Methodist Church in North Hollywood is that it's a decent looking church I have not really worshiped here but I do pass by all the time and the people that are there seem very nice it looks like you'd be a great sermon a place you could learn something knew about yourself I would say this is in your faith it's not bad to check out

This church recently got a new pastor (Steve Peralta) who is re-energizing the congregation with sermons show how to apply scripture to the modern day world. He strips away the centuries of misinterpretations that were used to abuse people to get to the true meaning of God which is love. The congregation is also very active in giving to those in need with work with interfaith foodbank and Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission.

Lovely message from the minister and beautiful old church to worship Him.

Good evening, Our online service is posted to YouTube @nohofumc each Saturday at 6PM . We recommend subscribing to our channel to never miss a service. Our in person service is each Sunday at 10:30AM in our main sanctuary. We are following mask guidelines for our in person service so masks and distancing is required on campus. Take care and we look forward to seeing you online or in person. NoHoFUMC
That church is a helpful Church talk to them they'll help direct you and if they can help I'm sure they will
Unfortunately Pastor Joey (with the Pony tail) passed away suddenly. We miss him dearly. Pastor Steve Peralta is our current Pastor. He has been with us a year and a half.
Services in a UMC are not celebrated on Christmas Day unless it falls on Sunday. There is always Christmas Eve Services that sometimes ends at midnight. It is my understanding that Christmas was not considered a major Christian Holiday until the late 1800s.
