Burbank First is back! In fact it never "closed" during the pandemic as it had streaming services via Facebook and YouTube, which continue to this day along with in-person worship. Attended twice in the last three weeks and felt a very good vibe in this church...the people are energetic, friendly, and are engaged in a traditional progressive worship service. I look forward to learning more about the church and the congregation. The children's Sunday School is well set up with good coverage and the kids came out carrying an actual activity page with Bible content. I loved that.

If you're looking for your forever church home, come to the big beautiful brick church on GlenOaks (a long time staple and icon to Burbank). Great family setting, and their motto of 'Open Hearts, Open Mind, Open Doors' is very true. We have been attending this church since moving to CA in 2009. Our new pastor, Sam Kim, along with his family, has been an invaluable addition to our church family, and his sermons are encouraging, insightful, and refreshingly engaging.
