Smashing Tomato | Pizza, Salad and more

Just finished an amazing meal at Smashing Tomato!! Both the greeting we received when we stepped through the door and the farewell as we left was friendly and sincere. Now for the food. We had a calzone that was big enough to feed at least 2 very hungry people and stuffed with the most delicious meats and cheeses. We also ordered a pizza called “The Cheesy Dream,” and oh my, was it delicious. It had a garlic butter sauce and was covered with a variety of cheeses. If you’re in the Lexington, Kentucky area we highly suggest that you give Smashing Tomato a try.

Rarely write reviews, but seeing as they gave us a free pizza because our first one had tiny hole, thought they deserved it. Great Pizza, Great Service, highly recommend!

Smashing Tomato is always delicious, fresh, and they have a great lunch special, which includes a generous portion of salad which is just a delicious as the pizzas! Not to be missed, for garlic Lovers, is the artichoke dip with "sheet music bread". One of my favorite pizzas is there margherita, and I'm sure to request that basil be put on when it comes out of the oven. The staff there are friendly and masked, and the service is usually pretty fast.

I was in town for a wedding and my wife and I REALLY wanted some pizza. We looked around and thought this would be a great spot. We were not disappointed! The pizza does not take long to take, and watching the process was really cool. There are tons of customizable options and flavors.
