Got the pulled pork, and it was dryer than a KFC biscuit. Coleslaw tasted prepackaged. And even the pickles were lackluster. Only saving grace was their BBQ sauce. Which, honestly, too sweet.

Either this place is wildly inconsistent or a lot of people don't know what good BBQ is supposed to taste like. First off they're rarely open during their posted hours. I drive past it several times a day, 5 days a week, and trust me, those 11-7 Tuesday-Saturday posted hours aren't accurate at all. The food isn't great when they are open. They're often out of menu items, the buns are the cheapest buns you can get and the BBQ sauce tastes store bought. The meat doesn't have much flavor so you have to drown it with sauce if you don't like bland meat. The cole slaw is terrible and I can't speak on the potato salad because in several visits they're always out. If it's just inconsistent I can't keep rolling the dice going for an good day. I'll never go back.

This is the best new barbecue place in downtown Lexington. It's located where the old Lexington diner used to be, off of Short Street, and upper... Sandwich chips and drink for $8 even... Check it out!

First time here, the aroma walking in the door is amazing! Pork is absolute perfection, chicken is delicious! Best baked beans ever, slaw and potato salad are also good. Sauce is super tasty.... would be a regular if we lived closer
