I was transferred here from urgent care for further evaluation. There's very little parking near the emergency entrance so you prob have to drive to the parking structure which is like a 5 min walk. They have a partially open tent area where you check in and wait. It's pretty uncomfortable, but I understand the ongoing COVID precautions. I wish they had more comfortable accomodations for people in pain, or the very young or elderly. I checked in, they got my vitals, then a bunch of testing over 1-2 hours. Everyone was chill. Saw the doctor to review my results, did a little more testing, then got cleared to go home. The doctor was super nice and he gave me a sandwich because I was so hungry. 😠Took about five hours total. I understand how ER works and my particular situation was urgent but not an emergency, so I was fine waiting while other people who needed more immediate care were being taken care of.

Witness something so upsetting today, that took place on other patients( 2) patients. I'll be short with my comment, but please speak up for yourself if you need a translator ask for one, the nurses that I encounter today where very unprofessional! In the way they treated me. There are other ways to talk to people...... Reading through these comments and lets just say things have not changed at all!!

Worst urgent care experience. Other than the fact that the ladies are rude (literally asked "you need something") they show no empathy. I understand it's a difficult time, however the intake person tried to say we would wait about 4 hrs because there were other people who were in more pain than us. She never asked how much pain we were in nor what we were here for- so I'm reporting this all the way up to Corp. While they were taking vitals there were girls in the adjacent room talking about going to the fair, eating churros, who they've slept with - completely unprofessional and ridiculous- you would not believe it if you weren't there. This is an emergency care- if we are here it's not because we want to be. We are coming here for an emergency and at least me, I was scared because I was unsure what was going to happen- and I have medical "professionals" in the other room laughing and screaming to the top of their lungs with no acknowledgement of the patients in the same area. To top it off, I have a lady who's not taking in patients, she's sitting outside eating ice cream while she checks on the status of other patients. I have pictures to prove it but for her sake I will not embarrass her. All this to say. I will be escalating this so they can get their act together. What a disgrace

So far this has been the worst emergency room visit ever. They care way more about u wearing their stupid mask then they do their patients. My mom is 87 and she isn't feeling well so much that she is shaking, vomiting, having abdominal pain and shortness of breath. Not to mention the diarrhea and the fact that my dad accidentally gave her his diabetes medication and she isn't diabetic. But who cares about all that as long as she wears their stupid mask and sit outdside in some make shift tent where they only allow her to be.
