This clinic has changed for the worse, So sad. I have been a regular client here bringing in multiple Dogs. It has gone downhill fast, not just related to covid as an excuse. Poor phone service. Lack of communition. Best one yet they ask for your money BEFORE BREAKING ANYTHING DOWN! I can go on but it is not fair for the people who do care and want to work, thats why the 2 stars. 90% of the worker there seem like they need a check or they wanna go viral becuase taking care of animals is the new thing.

Dr. Beck is amazing if it wasn’t for her loving and caring for my baby Scruffy I don’t think he would still be here. She has been there for me through some rough times and always thinks of both of us. This is why Scruffy and I followed her from Concord to where she is now. She is SO busy but she always makes us feel so important and the way she cares for my fur baby and others it’s truly from her heart. Thank you Dr. Beck for all you do. Scruffy and I just adore you.

I want to take the staff and the doctors that were able to service my dog this facility has one of the best customer service in the Contra Costa area I highly recommend them the facilities are always clean and the staff is always caring the customer service has been outstanding from the front desk all the way to the top I was really at ease leaving my puppy to be taken care of and know that they are in good hands I can’t say enough about how the customer service has handled our questions and ease any doubts. This is actually our third attempt to look into for other facilities for our pets and by far this is the best one again I just want to thank the staff and the employees at this location thank you for taking care of Mila.

my little rescue dog was attacked and had his ankle bones shattered. Berk Dog&Cat charged me $1000 for a splint (that fell right off) x-ray, antibiotics and a referral to a surgeon who wanted $200 to just look at Poppets films. Mark and Crystal at VCA ACTUALLY RESET Poppets bones MANUALLY, put a cast on him and Poppet was able to actually RUN the next day!!! total cost w anesthesia, $800! That was 9 years ago and Poppet is 100% and is showing no signs of arthritis! Lesson learned; Less is best when a Dr cares! VCA also works w rescue groups providing affordable care. VCA is a rare and wonderful find among vets who notoriously over test and grossly overcharge.
