Oriol, the owner met us, as we walked in impromptu, with his smiling face. Right away I felt comfortable. I requested a tune up on my 24sp hybrid. Got a great quote for the work and he said, it will be done in one hour. We got lucky! Came back and the bike was cleaned and tuned-up ready to go. Very impressed and delighted! Muchas Gracias Oriol!

Just plain bad customer service. 0 communication skills. Placed an order on 7/4 so that I could receive the parts before 7/10 Emailed & DM’d them on 7/7 explaining that if they hadn’t shipped already, I will have to change the address, as this house is getting sold tomorrow (7/13) Called on 7/8 asking for the tracking number - was told that they will call me right back with an update. Had to call back the afternoon of 7/9 because they never got back to me. Got left on hold for 20mins. Called back again and they gave me a separate phone number to text for an update on my order. Texted that number & never received a response. On 7/10 they email me stating that they have not shipped my order yet due to blemishes on the handlebars I ordered. I don’t understand why it took 6 days to contact me about this issue when they have all of my contact information on file. Then, instead of offering me a different set of handlebars or a partial refund, they claim that they will just cancel my order & then ceased communication with me. Just called back and spoke with Mr. Oriol himself. I explained to him that I will not be available to receive packages at this address after tomorrow and I requested to change the address BEFORE they ship it to the wrong address (it shows they created a label for this shipment yesterday 7/11 despite all my efforts to stop them from doing so on 7/7, 7/9, and 7/10) He tells me that he is indeed going to ship the package to the incorrect address and that it is my issue not his. This would have been a perfect time for him to offer to cancel my order and create a new one with a new shipping address, but clearly Mr. Oriol does not value me as a paying customer. Therefor, I requested to cancel my order to save us both the headache. Mr. Oriol then tells me that the only way to cancel an order is to text the same phone number that has already been ignoring me since 7/9. So now I’m sitting here hoping that some mystery employee sees my text message in time to stop the order from going out - because Mr. Oriol is either too incompetent or too lazy (or BOTH) to just cancel the order while he had me on the phone. This dude clearly doesn’t care at all about his customers or the reputation of his business. Oriol Bike Shop is right up there with Time2Shine in terms of sketchiness. They still have my money & haven’t even made an attempt to send me the bike parts I need... How hard is it to communicate with your customers and get their orders shipped out in a timely manner? You guys are a mail-order after all.. Maybe turn your website off if you’re too busy to manage that end of your business? I don’t know. This has been an absolutely garbage first impression of this shop.
