I ate at this location on Richmond as I had a horrible experience at the Harrodsburg location and was provided a gift card to try City BBQ again. The restaurant was clean, the staff were pleasant and they answered my questions before ordering. My food was timely and came out hot. I ordered a platter meal, with several meats and sides of mac and cheese and baked beans along with a lemonade. I did not enjoy the mac and cheese, it was quite bland. The baked beans had a sweet sauce that was too sweet for me. The sausage was amazing and the brisket, while a little dry, was quite good and did not even need sauce. I had a spicy sauce I used on the pulled pork, which was okay, but the pulled chicken did not taste good and I only had 1 bite. The lemonade was quite good. Overall, I'd say it was average. The sausage was excellent, the brisket was good, but the pork was average, while the sides and chicken weren't to my liking.

The crew from the place is really friendly & supportive, great attitudeand servicial. The food taste great specially the Brisket 🍖 is a "Must Try" 😋 from the variety. However all the options from the menu are really Good! Also the ambient is easy going. The place feels like a classical restaurant to have a local taste. 👌🏻
