WOW this place is phenomenal - visited for a weekday late lunch - food was flavorful and fresh, plus the amount for the price was a stellar value ( 2 entrees w/side + addl side salad + 2 cans of soda was $26 before tip). Plenty of unique options along with the staples. Not really a fancy place, it's tiny inside with a few outdoor tables and plates/utensils are disposable, but you will not be disappointed.

After circling the block to find the right place to enter, Athenian Grill did not disappoint for lunch. Everything we selected was delicious. A traditional gyro, a vegan gyro and kid bowls filled everyone up. Service was friendly and fast, definitely worth the stop.

Had lunch there 2 June, with three other friends. We didn’t know what to expect but am always willing to try new things and we were not disappointed. The portions were large, the food great, and the managers and workers were great. They were pleasurable and helpful in what to pick. With all of the seating being taken and their air conditioner out they grabbed a table and chairs and put it outside for us to sit. It was a nice area, shaded and cool. Thanks Jenny and team!!!

Best gyros in town, food as tasty as always. But I think the food is no longer worth the price. From the last time that my wife and l went there, I gotta say that they cut the portions: my wife had one side of our favorites lime potatoes, and they literally only served 6 potato chunks!, besides, they put in the gyros less meat and more vegetables. Not to mention the slow and clumsy service. They misunderstood my order and wrote down a side of rice instead of a side of FRIES. They didn't even bother to confirm the order with me at the register, and I got to noticed their error until they brought the food to our table. They told me they would fix that, but they never did. We had to go downstairs to ask why they were taking long to send the drinks and the missing fries. After literally more than one hour after ordering, we finished the rest of our food, and never got the side of fries. We lost our patience and ended up just getting out. I never imagined that being busy with lots of orders could be an excuse to not give the customers what they paid for and give a terrible service. It's a pity that the other branch (Downtown) closes earlier than this one.

The small establishment forces the employees to be cramped in the kitchen. Definitely no social distancing between employees. Otherwise, they are all masked and seem to be practicing good hygiene and sanitation. The place always looks clean. They have hand sanitizer for your use. There is plexiglass between the cashier and customer. I haven't seen any unmasked customers yet when ordering, so that's good. Although allowed, I wouldn't advise eating in because the place is very small.
Did not see any when we ate thete
