Questions & Answers

Is safe parking available at Newbern Tn amtrak station

Martha Campbell | Feb 7, 2021

There is off-street parking at the train station itself (just to the left of the building, behind the old fire truck on display). There is also street parking there and within a block. It's a fairly well traveled intersection on the end of downtown. I assume there is risk just like everywhere else, so hid valuables as always. I live about a block away and can't say I have ever had anyone break into my car, nor have I heard of car burglaries at Amtrak, but Newbern Police can give you better information than I can.

Do u have a train leaving Newburn to the California area

I do not believe there are direct trains to California. This stop is part of the City of Orleans line between New Orleans and Chicago. You would have to take this line elsewhere and switch trains.

Do you have a train going to San Antonio Texas and how much will it cost for a round trip ticket if you do

The line that services Newbern travels between Chicago and New Orleans. Travel to San Antonio will require a transfer. I recommend visiting the Amtrak website for more details regarding pricing and availability.
