Just wanted to thank the Sheriff's office for their help with an extremely stressful situation in which a young 17 year old girl is being harassed by her dad's new wife. The girl, her older sister and I (friend, letting the girl live with me) desperately needed help to figure out how to protect the girl from this is extremely unstable lady in the military (Army Reserves).

Poor telephone etiquette! No wonder people hate the cops when you have a rude person answering the phones. What does it take for these people to understand that how they answer a telephone is a direct represenation of how they represent their employer? Obviously, the lady deputy that answered my phone call hates her employer. In all seriousness, if the supervisors of this establishment don't get this, then it's just another battle they have to face. Please wake up!!

I feel we are lucky to have this station in Altadena. Any time I have called they have been most accommodating.. Some things have been minor but they have always been willing to send and officer out to the house. Also I want to thank them for being an important part of the safety for our Altadena a Guild of Huntington Hospital Home Tour for many years. They are very community minded as is our Fire Department . Before 911 I taught my children the phone number of the Sheriffs Department. They responded to my daughter' s call when she was 7 years old and it resulted in saving a 3 year old child's life who had stopped breathing. That child is now 40 years old. I give my grateful thanks to our Altadena Sheriffs Department!
