I will start by saying this is a nice venue if you are on a budget, and want the rustic theme for your event like we did. The owner and person who runs the place were good to work with and professional. The property is also beautiful for photos. We also had the option of having the property the day before to set up and take down decorations which was much needed time. We were overall pleased with our choice to use Mount Washington Barn Venue for our wedding. I will add however, there were a few things I think would benefit this place in the long run, and may be nitpicking, but may also be something to consider for specific events. The barn is very rustic, meaning it is not a building made to look like a barn. It really is an old barn converted to an event hall so the bathrooms aren't great, and there is no plumbing in the kitchen. This is something we had to find a work around for since we had food and drinks at our event. I think it would also be nice if someone came through and cleaned the place before, especially to get rid of the spider eggs and webs lingering around the corners in the bathroom and around the walls. There were also wasp nests all in the top part of the loft area. We spent quite a bit of time sweeping and cleaning prior to setting up the tables. Also, please add more secure locks to the barn doors. It would be very easy to break into this place, and although it hasn't happened according to the owner, it would have ruined our wedding to have something like the alcohol or really anything stolen. I also think it would be nice if either you could pay for the service in addition to the rental, or heck, even include in the price the option to have someone come and set up and take down the tables and chairs, especially for a wedding when you are using all of them and require people to clean up by 11pm. I felt like I wasn't able to enjoy the last 2 hours of my wedding because I was preoccupied with how we were going to clean everything up in time to get our deposit back. Most venues provide this service already. Just a thought. Other than that our experience was good and I would recommend it to a friend or family for an event.

Small venue & you have to be careful of how you lay things out so people's houses won't be all in your pictures as it sits in a neighborhood.

Nice place great for weddings and other things definitely in the spring and summer no air conditioning so little warm but still a super nice place set up great
