The Master Developer Lennar funnels it's funds through the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure. The shipyard is a federal Superfund site and one of the most contaminated properties in the nation.

There are numerous false reviews posted. The Hunters Point Naval Shipyard is one of the most contaminated properties on the National Priorities List. The Hunters Point Community Biomonitoring Program is Screening residents and workers on and adjacent to the federal Superfund site. We have detected dozens of elements in toxic concentrations with associated health effects including arsenic, gadolinium, manganese, vanadium, nickel, copper, uranium, cesium, thallium, strontium and radioactive potassium.

Fisherman's on the water know this landmark as the A-Crane. If this huge structure could talk , I'd hang around just to hear it's history.
