First time in a Japanese restaurant. Staff was friendly. The food so good. Definitely coming back. Recomendable to call for reservations because the place is small. I'm told by friends that is hard to find it unoccupied.

Eating here felt like we were transported to Japan. The decor and ambience felt like I was in one of those small restaurants in Osaka or Tokyo. The food is Okinawan style, enjoyed the ramen and sweet potato chips :)

This is a fantastic Okinawa restaurant, serving most of the typical Okinawa cuisines as well as more innovative, twisted dish of Okinawa fashion, which is actually rare to find even in Tokyo. Atmosphere is small and cozy, staffs are kind and tell you what you should try depends on your liking. Also one of the rare places in US where Orion Draft (beer from Okinawa) is served from the barrel into frozen glass! Nice! Also you can try most of all kinds of Imuraya deserts such as Yawamochi or Ultra soft Daifuku. I really want this restaurant in my neighborhood.

Who knew? Japanese dive taco shops exist! I'm a big Ramen fan and try to scout out new places wherever I go. Habuya is a tiny ramen/sushi/Japanese shop in what seems to be a kinda sketchy part of town, but it's absolutely worth it. The smoky Shoyu Ramen is only $12.50 and was very tasty. Others around me were enjoying sushi. I'll be back to try more from their varied menu.
