This is the place if you want a cheap stay in LA. Clean, everyone on staff was super kind and helpful, lots of character.

Very overpriced low-end dive. Demanded and extra $100.00 for us to pay with a debit card. They claimed they would mail the $100.00 back some time in the future. The continental breakfast was a joke. A guy in a room behind a window, you have to ask, "do you have any sweetrolls?" He brings one. Then you have to ask for coffee. Then you have to ask for cream or sugar. What a joke!!!!!

Positive: This is a great place to stay on historic Route 66! The room was very clean and updated and didn't feel it's age at all. The front desk clerk was very accommodatin and made sure that we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Elevators not working indefinitely, guessing about 15 to 20 steps to the second floor and the same to the third. Stay on the first floor if need be, great place, staffed by warm, gracious people!
