I am here right now, (9/9/21 10:50 am been here since 9:30)there is people sitting on the hallway because the inside of office only has around 6 space for people to sit. The doctors are 50 minutes behind schedule the poor receptionists are deal with all the chaos. No wonder they have low rating. They never gave a courtesy call to remind the appointment to my 74 yers old aunt. Many of these people have trouble getting here they need someone else to bring them and not having space to accommodate everyone is horrible. Their is another space available in the building, get it! And separate the office that you have for four doctors with two receptionist and 6 chairs for waiting room. Will update with the time I get out of here. Is 11:56 and she just went in!!!!Finally when appointment was at 10:45 and we got here early at 9:30 We got out of the office by 1:15pm not happy about it.

When seeking to change from the services of Dr. Olivia Lee to Dr. Hugo Hsu, both at Doheny Eye Center, I was told today (10 February, 2020) that I would be told (after intra-office consultation) whether this change would be allowed! This seems very strange. I'll choose a different Eye Care Center where I can control the surgeon who operates on my eyes.

My husband and I switched from our prior ophthalmologist to Dr. Vikas Chopra at Doheny Eye Center UCLA. The entire staff -- from appointments, to intake, to technicians and physicians, are top notch, professional and friendly. It matters a lot when your doctor and his staff know you, know your history, and are genuinely concerned about your eye health. As someone who has worn glasses since age one and has had a lifetime of serious eye issues, the excellent care here is priceless.

They took our Medicare and it didnt cost us anything
You would need to go into the UCLA health app and input your information it should tell you when your appointment is. If not, then they will call or send a text message as a reminder
You have to check with your IPA and primary doctor. I have Unitedhealthcare. I had to get special authorization to see the specialist at Doheny.
