Really very pleasant. So nicely organized. It went smoothly from start to finish. The bid made online was the bid granted after examination of the vehicle. The best experience i ever had In Feb I purchased a 30 k mi Chrysler pacifica with warranty. Three weeks later my vehicle started having an electronic glitch. I took it back to car max. Their service team did everything they could to get me in to service same day…long story short i had same issue 5 times in 2 weeks. I went to their manager Will and explained to him My situation that i use this car for work. And it just can’t go on.. carmax just purchased my car back at full price without any hastle! CarMax should be running the DMV as they are much more efficient. I made an appointment online to sell my car. I went there and they honored the price they offered me online and less than 2 hours later I had a check in hand. This is the way car sales should be done. It's safe and there's no haggling. Great experience!

Yes, online you click on the transfer option answer a few questions and someone will call you to verify your interest in the car and give you information about carmax and the car. Then it gets transferred to your local carmax. You are then notified to schedule an appointment for a test drive.
Make an appointment if you can. Social distancing. Limited seating. Outdoor seating. Cashier shields. Sanitation stations.

I know you don't really have to have an appointment but I would suggest talking to somebody just so you don't waste your time waiting on a good salesperson
