I've been wearing Besame Cosmetics for a few years now and made it a point to visit the flagship store when I visited CA. Not only was it the vintage store of my dreams (the vintage make up along the wall - WOW), but the staff couldn't have more accommodating. Sam was so patient, sweet and easy-going as my SIL and I tried on various lipstick shades. He was fantastic and I'll continue to shop at Besame as long as they continue to make quality products I can afford.

I don’t wear make up on the regular basis. In fact I used to hate it but the products and staff at Bésame completely changed my relationship to makeup. The products are gorgeous, natural and have a cool historical flair. The staff are freaking incredible and so knowledgeable. The first time I went there Sam help me pick out all the makeup I have. I literally threw away everything else and I only use products from Bésame now. Well… Not mascara because I don’t have the patience to use their mascara but if I did I would’ve bought that too. Going there felt so luxurious and pleasurable and I’ve been having fun with my make up routine which was never the case before I came to the store. And now I can feel good about what I put on my face because I know it’s not damaging my skin. Thank you so much for all the staff there and the founder!

Love this store & its products! The level of detail and quality in its vintage-inspired cosmetics is beyond compare. Also really fun to visit if you’re interested in history from the past century. They have antique/vintage cosmetics on display and even a very detailed book by the owner! The staff really know their stuff, too (thank you, Erica!).
