What a great little shop to drop into. Nothing like an hour in a book store browsing for just the right book. I highly recommend all the young people in San Anselmo drop by at least once a week this summer to pick up a new used book to read!

This is a great local source for used books at great prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the store is very well arranged. A great selection of fiction, history, biographies and memoirs, art and cook books, plus a fabulous children's area.

We happily accept donations during our business hours - Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. You may park in the lot behind the bank of america and enter through our rear door. Thank you!
We are a non-profit benefiting the Friends of the San Anselmo Library and as such we do not buy books. We gratefully accept book donations but we do not take magazines. Thank you.
Yes. As a used bookstore our inventory fluctuates based on donations but we usually have a shelf of both.
