WOW!!!! Food was incredible. We ordered the whole fried chicken with 3 large sides. It was the best, the chicken was crispy, juicy, goodness, mashed potatoes with pot lickka gravy was awesome, vegan collards greens was perfect. We truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. I would give Juniper 10 🌟 I recommend that you try this place, And don't let me forget about the staff, everyone was very polite and courteous, our waiter Kevin did an excellent job.

The food was very good, but the only issue was the service and the temperature in the restaurant. We had to ask our waiter for everything and he seemed very disinterested the entire time. Every coffee refill was an ask, and even then it took some time to find him. The temperature in the restaurant was also a bit warm, which was not too pleasant. So overall, food was pretty good, but service was pretty poor.

We finally made it back to Juniper and it's still well worth a visit. We started with three vegetable dishes, which were all good to great: the Brussels sprouts (crisp fried, with a fish sauce that was a little too heavy on the salt), hen of the woods mushrooms over grits (excellent), and carrot 7 ways (interesting and tasty). The menu focuses on fried chicken and they do it well. We tried the pork special with charred onion, which I do not recommend over the other options. I tried the chocolate chess pie, but would not recommend it due to gritty filling and limp crust. We had four cocktails; while they know what they're doing, nothing stood out. Overall, I wish they'd branch out more with main dishes. Service was very good.

The service was great. Chicken was fantastic (we had family - full bird, big enough for 2-3 ppl). Soup was beyond expectation. Complimentary chocolate was super. Bread basket was okay - the honey thyme butter that came with it was really good though. I like their vibe. Will come back.

I think a more prudent question is WHY would you do that considering the extensive selections they have??? I wouldn't encourage such behavior; however, if you DO DECIDE to engage in that kind of behavior, it would behoove you to "properly conceal" the evidence.
