I took my son in for a extraction of his wisdom teeth. I would like to thank Maggie for taking over for all of my insurance procedures after waiting for a response for so long from the insurance and the office. I would also like to thank her for understanding my frustration and listening to me, and taking ownership from beginning to the end of my sons recovery by personally taking care of everything and letting me know step by step on my cell phone. Thanks also to the Dr for his patience and understanding with my son while he became anxious during the procedure and comforting him as well as me.

Everyone was warm and immediately put me at ease. Dr Bilal was the kindest dentist I’ve dealt with. The staff, especially Maggie and Myrna were supreme. I would definitely recommend their services and would return myself!

This is the worst dental office I’ve ever been to. Both times I went in I was made to wait over an hour to be seen with an appointment. The second time was for an emergency visit. I waited for an hour and 15 minutes and had to remind staff that I was waiting before they saw me, and when they finally did they tried to take my X-rays for a second time for no reason because of the pain I was experiencing, they kept saying something about needing to get X-rays of tooth number 31 or something but no one ever asked me which tooth was hurting they just assumed and wasted time. When I finally saw the dentist he was rude and curt and squeezed on the area in pain with no warning. They recommended a treatment and assured me they would contact my insurance to follow up and schedule an appointment and I still have never heard back from them. They are extremely disorganized at best and actually incompetent and rude at worst. DONT GO HERE !!!!

I almost forgot to write this review. But this was for the time I had 4 wisdom tooths removed. If I recall correctly this took place in either late 2020 or sometime in 2021. However, this review isn't for the dental specialist surgeon who took my teeth out & yes, he did a fantastic job. This is review is for Maggie Reyes who I believe is the treatment coordinator there. This individual hardly knew me but immediately upon meeting her I felt her genuine vibe to make sure my needs as a patient were met. She was super kind throughout my time there, literally felt like an older sister I never had. She was very professional & made sure I understood every aspect of the process. For example, going into dental surgery/extraction & what to expect, what my post recovery will look like, how to take my meds, etc. Thinking about it now, I believe people like her is what holds a company together. I am not sure if Maggie still works there since I took a while to write this review. What I do know is the following. California Family Dental Center would take a big loss by not having someone like her there to treat patients. Maggie If you're reading this, thank you for both your help & for being who you are. My experience there was very pleasant & that's entirely thanks to you & the way you treated me. Also, during my time at family dental center I noticed you would treat everyone there with the equal amount of respect & care. For the record I only write a review if I believe someone truly deserves it! Take care Maggie.
