The staff both in the day and night were wonderful. Helpful. Kind and really made a terrible incident something we could bare for me and my mother. We had what we needed during our stay. I am truly thankful for them and their assistance. Location is good. Walking they have a general dollar. Driving just minutes from a variety of stores, restaurants and other establishments

Where do I start? I called the hotel and made reservations well ahead and asked for a room close to pool and parking. I even called again several hours before our arrival to confirm such. When we got there I was given a room on the opposite side of the building from the pool. My mobility is limited so I was very disappointed. The best part was the pool which was nice, although it could have been cleaner. We got three rooms for our group. There were multiple issues with the rooms. There were broken and nonworking light fixtures. One room's shower curtain wasn't waterproof. One had the smoke alarm dangling from the ceiling. There was a microwave and mini fridge but no coffee pot as listed on the website. Pretty disappointing overall.

Upon arrival to check in I was told by Roger, who told me he was a manager, that I had requested a non-smoking room. This was just the opposite of what I had booked through Booking.com over a month prior. When I showed him my reservation on my phone and he proceeded to cancel my room and told me, "You are already unhappy so you will not be staying at this hotel." It was 10pm and I was traveling with my 2 daughters. I asked, Roger, what I was supposed to do without a room and no place to stay with my children and he told me, "I guess you will have to contact Booking.com (as he shrugged his shoulders and smirked). The Twain on Main Festival was happening this particular weekend and every hotel in Hannial, MO was sold out. I ended up driving 30 more mins to the nearest hotel in Quincey, IL which also happened to be a Wyndham property. I have traveled the entire USA and have NEVER had such unprofessional customer service as I did with Roger, the manager, at this particular hotel. Definitely NOT family friendly, or empathetic for a single woman and her children's safety 3 hours from home.

Carpet needs cleaned, dresser had a big chunk broken out of it. Door looked like someone had tried to kick it in so it was bent and didn't open/close properly. Breakfast offering was pitiful. At least the sheets were clean and bed was comfortable.
