The Ghrist vet in Pittsfield was very compassionate and caring but unfortunately after he retired I went to the one in Carrollton and the first visit should have told me what to expect. My Chocolate Lab has a hematoma in her ear in which I was draining myself. Took her to the Carrollton vet and he jabbed her hard with a needle to drain it making her yelp. Well today I took her back for her operation and they put a rope around her neck and started dragging her to the kennel. Gunny my lab didn't know what was going on so I asked if I could walk her back to the kennel to make it easier on her and them. The vet then comes out and says we'll fix this right now and took the rope off her neck and said to me find someone else. IF YOU LOVE AND CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS VET AT ALL COSTS. VERY RUDE AND UNCOMPASSIONATE. BTW A VET THAT DOESN'T HAVE PETS HIMSELF IS VERY STRANGE. NEVER SEE HIM WITH A DOG WHEN HE GOES TO KAMPSVILLE TO TAKE HIS BOAT OUT. NEVER AGAIN

Took Sophia. In for her 2nd puppy shots. The staff and Dr. Saxe were wonderful.

Always professional, always do a good job, I travel all the way from Alton to have my dogs spayed, very reasonable, they have the love of all animals atmosphere! Thank you for your caring services

Every time I go to the vet my dog is always off the rails because she doesn't like it but the vet techs always handle it like it's no big deal. Also, the prices for shots and anything else you might need for your dog are reasonable.

They are open Saturday Dec 19.
I think you do. I would just give them a call. I have never ask.
Not sure. You'd have to call and ask.
No need they are word of mouth...great place..wonderful people....they treat my pups awesome!
Not sure, you'll have to call. They're a very good vet and very reasonable prices though.
You just call them.
Their phones are typically very busy, you just have to keep trying. Seems to be the busiest first thing in the morning and right before they close. They are also closed from 12 to 1 every day for lunch. It's worth it to keep trying. They're so good and reasonably priced. They've been taking care of my pets for well over 10 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
