I am the founder of animatevegetbales.com we travel around the states checking out tons of conservation locations along the way. This place was extremely isolated and secluded. However, it's worth being there at night. The perfect stars along with the amount of lighting bugs make it a great camping spot. Also there is a little bit of internet connection which is nice.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been good. The the road has a creek that you must cross to reach the gun range, but that’s part of the experience. Thank you MDC for giving us places like this and making Missouri awesome!

i only come here for the shooting ranges and they are great. 100% unmanned range! nice open field to shoot clays the pistol and rifle ranges are located across a creek, big trucks need not worry but small cars cant pass, so you will need to get out and walk across:/
