Spent a couple of hours touring the farm back in June, with our daughter who is interning there for a year. Met one of the owners, Drew, who was an inspiration. This is the way forward folks, our food sources are so important. This type of farming must be supported. Tons of veggies, all the livestock were comfortable and are used on the farm. The only thing I could see possibly missing would be Bee 🐝 Hives. Other wise a dream place.

Hi Susan, Happy New Year to you as well. We don't have a huge hornworm caterpillar problem in our tomatoes -- but when we do, the organically approved B.T. works -- there are various formulations of it. It is basically a bacteria that works only on Lepidoptera and gives them a bad case of the flu. The species name is Bacillus thuringiensis.
