will not give this location any business again. Just needed a tire put on a trailer and mud flap, we had the tire and on the rim, took them 11hrs to even get him in the bay....kept telling driver he was next, so we waited, they kept telling him this, giving no time frame. was just about to call a service truck to come get it fixed. Then they pull him in. There is a Good year tire service just around the corner from them, better off to go there.

I love love's travel stop. They have clean showers, big parking for trucks, friendly service and delicious hot dogs. However something is missing though. I am a truck driver and I cannot go to restaurants. Therefore, I usually eat something in truck stops but unfortunately they don't have much verities. I wish they had something with rice or something with vegetables.

Ok, this station and convenience store is well placed, and the employees are friendly and attentive. BUT! The REAL draw for me is the super sweet lady who runs the attached Subway! She makes lunch feel like a family get together every time!

This one is a bit tricky. To start out, its St. Louis. and its right in the bad side of the city. My recommendation is to get fuel, food, a shower, and find somewhere else to park for the night. Parking here after 4:30 will be difficult like a typical truck stop with limited space. Daytime is alright for parking, but night time there is a lot that happens. Gunshots and cops are always happening down in the area. It is not Love's fault. Just they are in a bad area. The facilities are usually clean enough and shower rooms are clean. Water pressure can be iffy sometimes. Staff are normally friendly and management will help you if needed. Fuel island can get packed easily if drivers are not keeping up with the flow. Panhandlers are there every so often, mostly at night time. They will give you stories of being a veteran or working for a veteran organization, but they only want money. Some will ask for money for food, if you offer to buy it for them or offer them some other type of food, they will reject it normally. Just try to do what you need to and head out. Like I said, this review is a tricky one. Most of the problems here are not the truck stops fault and I do sympathize with them for it. They will continue to get my business though and I hope someday Love's will try to make the place more secure and safe, or just relocate somewhere better.
