Upright MRI for lumbar took 15 minutes and was a breeze. Front personnel were personable and professional. Jordan was an excellent technician and I appreciate his understanding to my claustrophobia. Three things made the upright MRI not trigger my claustrophobic condition: 1. I was not harnessed in to the machine 2. The technician window was immediately in front of me. 3. Great communication during imaging and it was over quickly. *Front personnel provided disc copy within minutes. I paid $395 out of pocket because my “great” insurance rejected it. However I plan to file a petition for reimbursement. After all Mental health is health care. If rejected it was still worth the $395 and 40 mile drive.

My appointment was on a Wednesday and when I set my appointment I asked if I was going to get a CD copy of the MRI and the receptionist said I would at the end of the session. I was called into the waiting room and while I was there I heard someone sneezing their brains out about 12 times in the manager/supervisors office. I notified one the technicians and he just shrugged his shoulders! After my session I went to the front office and asked about my copy, they said that they will send the report to my dr. and send me a CD copy in the mail. Whats up with that! I told them that I have an appointment with my spine surgeon on Tuesday and they said that my Dr and I would have the report and CD copy before the appointment. It's the day of my appointment and no CD for me and no report for my Dr. I had to call Expert MRI to have them fax the report while I was in the exam room. I finally got a copy of the CD on Thursday so now I have to set up a new appointment so my Dr can see the images. I've seen the images and they are not good quality images. Very dark and not very clear, the detail is terrible. I've had x-rays and cat scans and see better details in those images. Worst experience at this type of facility in my life. I would not recommend Expert MRI.

I have never been to a more complete, thorough, nicest staff ever, working directly with the public ever. Each staff member knows exactly what to do. You are made to feel very comfortable and there hospitality l rated 200+. The staff member who greets you at the front desk, her name is Catalina. She is so positive and carries such a beautiful smile. She treats you like a best and close friend and she isn't phony. I fell in love with the technician. I was in a lot of pain. He made me so comfortable. I was relaxed and at ease. He kept saying to let him know if l needed a few minutes if l felt tired. He explained what the procedure entailed. He was through before l knew it. Once l got dressed and went back to the front desk, you are given your own personal DVD of the MRI that was taken. I thought that was so unique.. I left my cane in the dressing room. She politely told me she would go back to get it for me. Then she offered to get me a bottle of cold water with the weather being so hot. However, she brought me two.I couldn't help but give her a hug. I would recommend anyone who wants the A-1 treatment. YOU MUST GO!! They have their own parking lot, so know need to worry about parking and it is free. For me, and l don't drive the freeways, it was far, but once l got there and stepped into the office, IT WAS MORE THAN "WELL WORTH IT". One more important thing, they don't schedule several people for the same-time appointment. So Yeaaa Catalina and Staff! Your wait isn't long. They have a vending machine that carries any and everything in it and they have coffee/tea freshly made with a snack waiting for you.
