White Castle

Went to white castle and went to see the Arch. Just beautiful. I wanted the kids to taste White Castle especially their double cheeseburgers and loaded fries. So we just ordered a lot. They liked some and didn't. I always liked White Castle in Michigan. So I thought the kids would like it also. But we had fun.

Food has been wrong 3 times in row. This last time they put the pickles in a paper sack that leaked and soaked the cheese sliders that didn't have cheese on them. They were also cold as can be. Not sure if from the pickle juice or just the lack of giving af. I'm yet to see the same employee twice there so probably the latter. Just buy them from the store if you really want White Castle. At least they'll be edible.

I tried the impossible sliders tonight and absolutely loved them. A great meat replacement with good flavor, and thicker than the traditional beef slider. I added tomato. I would have liked extra pickles! The people who work here are always really nice. It's worth the wait in the drive through. I like to support our local white castle because the people who own the franchises around here give back to the community. Also, I got the strawberry swirl cheesecake on a stick and wish I got fifty of them. They were oh so good!

I am unable to review the food as I was in the drive thru at the speaker for about five minutes-understanding that it maybe a busy time I then spoke up. The answer I received was that it was a shift change. I waited a few minutes more, no interaction. Too long at the speaker without even being able to place an order. Hopefully they will be better staffed soon.
