Amazing food, beer and atmosphere! The beach area is surrounded by forest and has corn hole / fisbee. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating as well

Ordered smoked wings and received whatever these wings are instead. I am an avid smoker and love smoking wings; no smoke flavor or smoke ring. Upon looking at other reviews and the menu photo, the wings historically are clearly smoked with some char. After asking if there was a mix up, we were assured the wings were smoked and that’s why they were rubbery in texture and pale in color. These are genuinely the worst wings I have ever had. I don’t think this was intentional, as no restaurant can turn out food like this and stay in business, but own your mistake. Edit: We brought this issue to the bartenders and no attempt to rectify the situation was made.

This was such a perfect place to go after hiking! Delicious food/beer, dog friendly “beach” and great people.

We went hiking with our dogs at Staunton and wanted to drop in somewhere for a pint and a bite. They allow dogs on the patio which was great. Dogs ended up getting cold and we out then in the car and we ate our pizza inside. Good selection of beers, mostly sours and stouts right now, and the pizza was really really good. We’ll be back, especially when it’s warm and the beach isn’t covered in snow!
