Amazing ride with Marie and Rachel! We were 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 9 & 12). 1 adult had a lot of horse experience and the other adult had barely any, and this was the kids first true trail ride. They wranglers we're calm, knowledgeable and great teachers. We would come back tomorrow if we weren't leaving town And would recommend to all friends and family. The property is beautiful and you ride through a state park as well.

We had an amazing afternoon with Marie, her daughter as guide, and their horses (Roxy and Casey)!! Their instructions for folks who have only been out a few times were detailed and very helpful. The horses were smart, calm and sure footed. The trails were an adventure with beautiful scenery all around. Highly recommend booking a ride with them before the season ends or early next year!

Marie, her cats, and her horses are just amazing. From the moment we got out of the car, it felt welcoming. One of the cats came running up to welcome us as we headed to the stable. The general feel was laid back, as if we were part of the environment. The horses were beautiful and calm. They didn't look tired or disinterested. The trail was incredible. The terrain was diverse and fun to ride on and the horses seemed to enjoy the challenge. The smaller group was a treat and made sense as we traversed the switchbacks up and down the mountain. It also allowed for us to just enjoy the wilderness, listen to the sounds, see birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and even a deer watching us pass. Marie was just amazing and made a special day even more special. Not only would I recommend Bear Mountain Stables for a small group, I hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful time horseback riding at Bear Mountain Stables! Communication before our ride was clear and simple. When we arrived we were welcomed and briefed on how to ride. The trail was AWESOME and Marie and her assistant, Cael, were both very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!
