I had my racquets strung here last month with Babolat RPMs. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful in finding a strong that worked for me since I'd been out of practice for several years. In total I paid about $60-70 for labor and strings. The turnaround was one day and I was grateful to have my racquets back so quickly. I'll definitely be returning for any other tennis gear like balls, grips, shoes and apparel. The store has new hours beginning May 5 2021.

I've been going to Plaza Tennis since I was a kid. The original owner, Bill, was fantastic and very much a friend to regulars and new customers alike. I live a little ways away now, but stop by every once in a while when I'm in town and need something. Unfortunately, there just aren't a lot of tennis shops like this around anymore. I've bought some things I needed online, but yesterday I was in town and stopped by because I've been looking at racquets for my daughter and saw they were open. The current owner, John, was just as awesome as Bill - very knowledgeable and was more than happy to talk through options with me and helped me make a great choice for my daughter. I would actually pay more to patronize and support a local business like that (especially one with such a great owner), but was pleasantly surprised that the prices were pretty much the same as online - and even better considering that he threw in a can of balls and a vibration absorber. And of course, the advice makes the value even better, and for such a small shop, they have a surprisingly large selection of in-stock racquets, bags and shoes.

Plaza Tennis & Sports is a great shop, excellent variety with great prices. They recommended strings and got my racket ready to go in just a day. I absolutely love my racket. John's work is excellent, the consistency of stringing is solid. He's very knowledgeable too. He'll recommend strings based on what you're looking for. Everyone is at Plaza Tennis & Sports is friendly and very professional. They go the extra mile for you and the prices are very fair. I highly recommend the shop to any racket sports enthusiast.
