On the evening of June 9th, 2021 I was driving my newly acquired RV from Indiana to Colorado. It was getting late, and I was getting tired. A heavy rain storm was moving toward me and I decided that it was time to find a place to stay for the night. I used my phone to find a place and the nearest one to me was a little out of the way from I-70, but it looked promising. I drove there and when I arrived the office was closed. I came across a lovely lady sitting out in front of her RV with her dog and asked her if she knew if there was any spaces available for the night. She replied that she didn’t, but she had the manager’s number in her phone and would call him. She did, and about 5 minutes later he came driving up in his golf cart with a great big smile. He introduced himself and said that he was full but he would make a space for me. Sure enough he and another man that was staying there made a spot for me to stay for the night. It didn’t have any hook ups, but I didn’t need any. The next morning I woke up and the neighborly man that I stayed next to that evening helped me to get my 42’ motor home safely out without causing any damage to anyone else or myself. As I was ready to leave I offered to pay them for the place that I stayed at. He refused to take my money and wished me a safe journey home. I get so awful for not being able to pay them. I decided that everyone needs to find this slice of beautiful green heaven and experience it for themselves. The entire park was lush, green, gentle hills and gorgeous sites that are large and private. The people I encountered there were truly some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life! They are just so down to earth and honest and welcoming. I can’t thank them enough for their gracious hospitality and a memory that will last my entire life. I can’t wait until I’m back out that way, because I WILL stay there again. I hope that all of you do the same as well. You will not regret it.

This is the WORST RV park I’ve ever stayed in!! It’s NOT full hookups like they told me on the phone! They “supposedly” come around and empty the black tank for you once a week but I’ve waited almost 2 weeks for them to empty mine. Called them several times and still not emptied. There’s also very little water pressure so good luck taking a shower. No WiFi and also very poor cell signal. I recommend a different RV park than this one!!!

Our fun weekend getaway. Owner has allowed us to spruce our site up to our liking and is appreciative. Simple no frills campground but works well for us as our seasonal happy place.

If you are going to be here a few days, should be fine. It's a big mud hole. Could be nice if owner would put in some work. Cell phone and WiFi very spotty. He was literally putting campers anywhere he could rig up a spot. We are here for 6 months working. So glad we found a better place. I realize it rained a lot, but the pot holes are there either way. Literally did not feel safe leaving the camper unlocked to go to the laundry.
