We tried to stop in yesterday and they were surprisingly closed (probably a staffing issue) but I came back today and am so glad. The po boy, while simple, was a good amount of heat and plenty of shrimp to fall off the sandwich. I also got the "fantastic roll" (sushi) and oh man fantastic is not justice... it was incredible. Who knew fried sushi was a thing but I'll be looking for it now! I can't attest to any of the rest of the food but I will also say the entire wait staff was moving and working hard the whole time doing anything and everything while being so friendly and personable. Would definitely return!

We went here yesterday for dinner and it was delicious. The food was cooked perfectly, including my medium rare steak, and the service was also good. We went at 3:30, so it was pretty empty. The food was delicious nonetheless. Would go back again.

👎It has been awhile since we ate here because our last experience was not good. Needless to say we will Not be back, after our experience on 3/19/22. We waited for sometime before staff even acknowledged that we were there waiting to be seated. We waited 20-30 minutes, which isn't bad. However, once we got seated, it took another 10-15 minutes for our drink order to even be placed. No acknowledgement from our waitress. Drink orders finally placed, finished those before our food order was taken. Witnesses numerous guests walk in wait quite sometime to be acknowledged for a seat, before walking out. Wait staff looked very rushed and not very friendly. However they had enough time to stand outside our window to smoke a cigarette for about 10 minutes and returned to the floor without washing their hands..🤢 Our food finally came 1.5 hours of being there. Food was cold some items from the dish was missing, however we still had to pay full price for that dish, and one of our plates didn't get served for about 10 minutes after the others. Service and Food was absolutely terrible. This would have been a different scenario if our waitress would have at least checked on us more then what she actually did.

I visited mid afternoon so the place was deserted. Seeing it in the light of day and considering the surrounding area i could tell this place would be jam packed and popp'in on Fri/Sat night. I had sushi but I cant remember what it was exactly, it was ok. The waitress was really personable and friendly, even with a sore throat. id like to go back during peak hours and bar hop in the area. French Lick is a really cool town. Like really. Pretty badass. The urinals in the mens room are made out of beer kegs which is cool. The only con i can recall is that the bathroom was absolutely vile and reeked to high heaven
