Had an excellent time kayaking the Salt Fork on a trip booked through these folks. We were running a little late (ok a lot late) getting to the end of the trip and they waited patiently for us and were super cool about the whole thing. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our kayak trip down the river. The water level was was a little (below 1.5 ft) so there were a number of times we had to get out and push our kayaks, but it was a part of the adventure. Found some places to swim, relax, and climb up as we made the journey down the river. All the employees we talked to were helpful and friendly. We had reservations and they had everything ready for us on time. I would recommend utilizing their services if you are in the area.

I've used their services twice this summer already and plan to continue to do so for the remainder. I've had great experiences with the staff who are helpful to newcomers. I have exclusively floated so far but they seem to have all kinds of options available, including kayaks! For floating specifically, the first leg takes about 1.5 hours straight through. The second seemed to be about 2. That said, stopping off on the banks is great fun and will add significant time so plan accordingly. There is plenty of shade along the river thanks to sense foliage and high cliffs. It's a comfortable float overall with some light rapids to boot. Definitely encourage you to use their services whether using your own equipment or theirs. If you have a large group consider a reservation. When going out PLEASE bring a trash bag (or two). Maintaining the banks is a community responsibility so all can enjoy this beautiful location. Happy floating!

Always friendly service! You can rent tubes, SUP, kayaks, mountain bikes, and paddle boats. Bring your own gear to fish the small lake/pond. If you bring your own tube, you can use their bus services for just $4/person. Life jackets are provided. The bus takes you up river and drops you off. You float back down to the parking lot. There are several trip options this year, including a longer float that takes about 3 hours. Along your float, there are sand bars where you can park your tube and get out and swim! After your adventures, or while you wait for the bus, visit the little café that's on site for a quick snack. I highly recommend Kickapoo Adventures because their staff is always so friendly, cheery, and helpful! Plus its a great way to spend the day in the sun!

I think I remember it being 20 dollars to go around the whole river and back only once depending on what waters you get on
Yes you can best thing to do is get a 2 cars one park at the beginning one at the end.... It's is fun
I just asked this question last weekend and was told no minimum. Children under 8 are required to wear lifejackets.
