Sometimes, when you're lucky, good things can come in bunches. The California Endowment is an efficient, friendly facility with a knowledgeable, well trained staff. The building is located downtown near excellent train and bus transportation. It a modern, pleasant facility with lots of green. The courtyard, visible from most rooms, is well-maintained. It doesn't feel your in downtown Los Angeles, just across the street from Chinatown. Audio and video are professionally handled. Audio is clear and clean. Video appears on multiple large flat screen monitors easily viewed from most seats. The catered lunch included both vegan, gluten free, and conventional proteins. My vegan meal included corn, black beans, a tossed green salad and corn tortillas. Roasted chicken is also offered. Desert is a selection of mini cupcakes. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Parking is free in a lot located to the East of the building. See, when you're lucky, good things come in bunches.

Been coming to the rise up cafe with a friend for about a year. Consistent quality, competitive price, really can't complain. Good outdoor seating far away from the street noise, enclosed so you have a little getaway from work.

Friendly welcoming staff, very professional. The facility is clean. The cafe serves a new lunch special every day and very affordable. Meeting rooms are comfortable and private.
