Great service and really good food. I loved the salsa and bought some to take home with me.

We are visiting Normal/Bloomington and looked up the options for the best Mexican restaurant in the area. We picked this place as it had good ratings. We are vegetarian and our son is vegan. There were not much vegetarian options on the menu so we spoke to the attendant who gave us over half a dozen options and the food was served quickly. The flavor was authentic and ingredients were fresh. We enjoyed our meal and will recommended it to anyone who is looking for tasty and fresh Mexican food in the area. I am sure their non-vegetarian food is as good. The staff was very cooperative and everyone we met, looked very happy. I am sure rhey are well taken care of by the owners.

HOLA, so we went right before lunch and got to seat ourselves. La Señora who served us was very friendly and professional (plus she took my side on a bet at the table. Haha). Anyways, we ordered the Cecina Chimichanga that came with beans/rice/salad mix. It's was very good and filling (as you see in pic i actually took half plate home). We also ordered tacos of chili rellenos/ asada/tripa/lengua (never go wrong with tacos here). The only thing i would say is for six tacos only 2 pieces of lime were on the plate (i suppose some people don't use them and for that reason they do that so not too waste). The Horchata is a MUST! I tried the peach margarita (🤔 it was in a can) it was different but 10% alcohol def felt it. He had XX dark (it's beer not much more to say about that). The entrance is accessible to wheelchairs, however it would be a tight fit to the restrooms (so that's a so so). Prices are reasonable for the area. THIS IS A PLACE I RECOMMEND FOR GOOD MEXICAN FOOD..

My favorite Mexican restaurant! It's the best!
Yes they do serve at least beer, not sure about hard liquor. Great food. Hope they open soon.
Limited seating. Masks are required for entry. Constant cleaning and disinfecting practices in place
They have a roasted tomato salsa so its more on the brown side and usually very spicy but they also have an arbol hot sauce(red sauce) and a salsa verde (green sauce) all spicy very authentic
They have numerous gf options, but I would recommend informing the waitress that you are GF so there is no cross contamination.
That, and I have specifically asked them several times for an item to be not spicy, no spicy at all, and have it come *more* spicy than the dishes I specifically ordered spicy. Ruined meals for some family members.
