I cant say enough positive things about credit unions. This one won't disappoint. Always clean, staff is nice. Security guard at the desk in lobby is always willing to answer questions.

Formerly the teacher's credit union, CCU is always friendly, always efficient. Why on earth anyone would go with a Wells Fargo or BofA when member supported credit unions like this exist is beyond me. We have personal AND business accounts here and membership is easy - they'll figure out a way to get you in even if you're not a teacher. Alwyn and Alexandra lead a kind and exceptional team that always greet their customers with a smile.

If this was based off the customer service of the branch workers it would be 5 stars easy. But I’m basing the 1 Star off the bank management. They have no people skills, and everyone is just a number to them. They call themselves a credit union but operate worse than Bank of America. I’ve banked with them for years and for years I’ve had issues, my only regret was not closing my account earlier but today I officially closed my account and taking my business else where.

Even though the California Credit Union usually serves within the good old USA itself, my personal experience with them has been incredibly cordial, punctual and compassionate, not to mention highly successful. As an independent international missionary for my Faith, I have had to travel widely, and CCU has always been there for me. Through 2 robberies, losses and complications due to a lack of forwarding mail, CCU always rose to the occasion and helped me survive. I cannot thank them enough, somebody always emerged from among their staff to see me through the latest crisis. Even if I were not religious, they would stand as human angels. Without CCU I would no longer be able to serve in the missions. Now I can retire and will reside in my location of choice, thanks to the reliable California Credit Union.
