My 7 yr old daughter has light veins that are hard to find. We went to 2 other locations that were difficult and unsupportive, and unsuccessful. The young phlebotomist here had no problem finding her veins the first time, quickly. She reduced my daughter’s anxiety with a warm, and loving attitude. I think her name was Noho. We will always come here.

I'm a very nice and understanding person and don't complain or write bad reviews. But this situation was the worst medical experience of my life! So my first bad review ever. Dr. Romero was very unprofessional and careless. She prescribed me birth control pill without asking which one I prefer or asking any questions about it. She gave no instruction to the birth control she prescribed. She asked no questions about my health concerns, nor she gave a good recommendation when I told her about my issue. The nurse never gave my form to the doctor. The other man who was trying to make an appointment with a gynecologist wasn't helpful. He said he would give me a phone number for a different facility which he never did. The pharmacist was not helpful as I asked them to change my prescription. They said I'd have to wait for Dr. Romero to finish her next appointment. Dr.Romero spoke to me maybe for 5 minutes, most of the time during my appointment I was just waiting in the room. They took my urin but didn't let me know the result. To explain, the doctor has to confirm you're not pregnant before prescribing you birth control. The most unprofessional and careless doctor and the staff I've ever seen! I'm extremely disappointed. I didn't get what came for. Do not go to this facility! I'm never going back there.

Very friendly at check in. This is a newer facility and very modern. We were able to check in on a computer kiosk, but there were still lovely women up front there to guide us through the process. The waiting area has calming music, ample, comfortable seating, and a large tv with your current wait time for you specifically. It's genius!

No, but there should be. Kaiser seems to think that the purpose of Urgent Care is only to reduce work load on their Emergency Rooms - so for the most part, they have Urgent Care centers available at their full-scale hospital locations. What would, of course, relieve burden for both their ER's and subscribers is to open additional Urgent Care centers at some geographically friendly locations such as this one. Having to drive 10+ miles to Harbor City or Downey while feeling sick is really of zero benefit to their subscribers.
Yes
The lab doesn't close for lunch, and hours depend on where you are.
Kaiser accepts Kaiser
Usually not. It depends on why you're there & what doctor you're seeing. You can do labs & nurse visits without an appointment.
Yes open Monday-Friday Building closes at 5p. Good phlebotomists there.
