Have been finding pieces of art and was wanting to learn more, he Seemed like he knew a lot about art. When I called I asked if he'd be there he said, "well i answered the phone didnt I?" Which I thought was rude and off-putting. When I went down there he was rude and acted like I was wasting his time. I won't be recommending the store or putting in a good word about him anymore.

Bought some cool stuff here. Nice inventory of antiques, a bit of everything. We got a cast iron park bench. Owner was friendly and informative. Time well spent.

Didn't expect much from outside, highly surprised inside. This is not your usual antique store. This is more of a store to learn or purchase lighting products, newer or older. The owner is an expert on old lighting, building custom lights, and appropriate to the period lighting. More lights than I have ever seen in a store and much more that is not in the store. Saw so many possible lights for our old house that a long discussion ensued with the owner. I apologize to the other customers in the store for hogging his time. Got several lights that we needed at prices that were very reasonable. Will likely return for more as we decide more. If there is a con, it would be that the owner doesn't do email, text, etc and cash or check only and he is no dinosaur, lol. If you don't see what you want, ask. If you see something you like, but aren't sure, ask. This store is all about education. Antiques, who knows, we did not discuss them. Not a good store for kids.
