Very nice and clean park! It has a basketball half court, 2 tennis courts, and a playground (that we can't use due to Covid-19). Great for a nice time out of quarantine.

Yes, there are grills there to use, charcoal I believe or you can bring your own.
I'm pretty sure you can get a permit for the softball field from parks and rec department. I would call and ask.

Depends on your idea of a large amount. There is a good amount of street parking all around the park, a small lot next to the play structure and another long lot where the farmers market happens on Wednesdays.
I would call the fire station on Eliot St and ask them . They are right across the street
