It's always an amazing time when I go eat there. The service is always spot on. The food was hot as usual. Did I mention that it was also delicious. Out of all the breakfast spots in Chicago The Skillet is always my go to spot.

I went in today for breakfast and I have to say it was amazing from the time I walked in the young man at the counter greeted me with a smile and was so friendly and the server was great as well. I had the country fried steak and it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. It completely made my day. Thanks so much skillet house. I’m sorry I can’t remember your names. But you know who you are. Super delicious food! I went here with my boyfriend and we both got two skillets. The plates for the skillet are adorable and everything was well seasoned. The portion size is kind of small compared to other establishments— but still delicious. The ambiance is super comfortable and cozy! As for service, it did take a bit for the server to take our order but she was also super friendly and occasionally stopped by to ask how is the food.
