My son and I had a wonderful experience at this park playing at the man-made mountain and watching the train pass by. We were celebrating the 4th of July here with our bothers and sisters in Christ from Hayward church of christ; we had the massive grill that was installed in this park. The grilled food was on point. We had a blast!

Love the walk on top of the boardwalk above the lake overlooking the floating ducks. Kids love the Zipline as well as everything in the playground. This park has picnic tables. It also has various modified stationary bikes scattered along/beside the long walkway. Can't wait for the completion of the phase 2 renovation of the other side of the park.

This is a really popular, rather large park with lots of amenities, including baseball fields, a lake, and even a zipline. Lots of spaces for parties to gather. I'd like it to be a bit cleaner, but freeze make that hard. I enjoy looking at all of the different types of flowering plants at the lake.

Yes, I believe that you can bring your own table, to supplement the tables that are there.

Via Catherine is the only open gate at this time due to construction.
Yes go take bockman to via Cathryn It will take you straight into the duckpond
I have not seen anyone doing that.
I know that If it's for a big event like wedding or quinciañera they will let you bring your own food. Otherwise I'm not sure you will have to call and ask.
I don't think you can play but soccer. Don't know if they supply ball but there are 2 goals .
Yes. Just follow Alameda County Health Department guidelines
Through H.A.R.D. it's https://www.haywardrec.org/
You would have to call the number for reservations & inquire.
Outdoor
Tons of spaces
When You go in turn to the left. Keep going around you will see a parking area, a small building(bathrooms) & tables w/a cover over them. Gazebo. Adult exercise area is down a bit farther. Also Dog park is a fenced in area. Another entrance & exit.
I don't have any tables. You should go look it over. If You are planning a party reserve the gazebo area.
no probably not
I DNT know for sure Mr Sanford
There are indoor bathrooms, but nothing huge
No.
I grew up there when it was called to town and I don't see why not have a great time at your party😄
yeah? kinda like one of those parties cool kids be having at their houses or at an auditorium or something. but I just wanna know what the budget would be like if I had a party like that. just hope it's not too high.
Yes, I would.
There is not a place to purchase food or drinks. It is possible they have a concession stand during Little League games. I have not been at that time So I don't know. Regular days it is a nice place to bring Your lunch. If You have kids great play area. If You have a Dog nice dog park area. If You like to practice sports there are areas. If You like to excercise there is equipment.
Yes it is .. Place is huge. With lots of open space .. Can reserve picnic area as well
Some spots can do BBQ, but you need to reserve beforehand. They are popular, need to prepare at least two months before your party.
You should reserve them, as this is a very popular park for parties and events
I'm not sure, but I am guessing Alameda County Animal Control. Otherwise, google bird rescue, or goose rescue and see if there is anything in the area.
The outer most loop is about 3/4 mile (1.25km)
No I haven't. SORRY
No. There are specific parks where you are allowed to set those up and San Lorenzo Community Park isn't on the list. Check HARD's website for which parks you can have a jumper.
There is an extra large one for roasting a whole pig or something. Probably need special permission for that one too. There are several small ones on the perimeter of the park (away from the new play area)
