Really enjoyed the night here. Came out for a performer's birthday party. The place was pretty spacious, nicely decorated with ample seating. The customer service was good as well and security was on point and oh so polite. I saw that there was also an outside dining and bar area which was great, in addition to the inside bar and dancing area with slot machines. There was a buffet available but I didn't partake but everyone I spoke to said the food was very good so I'm looking forward to trying that the next time. My one gripe would be the liquor prices because they were on the high side. After buying two small cups of wine for $16 and some change from one bartender, the second bartender tried to charge me $28 for the same? Ummm no I can buy a bottle at most places for that amount. I'd go back for sure just won't be drinking too much.

Walleye and prime rib dinners were very good, warm and good portions. Suggestions: add fruit garnish to Sangria, add bright abstract large pictures to empty gray walls. If you plan on being a fine dining restaurant replace plastic water cups with glass and paper napkins with cloth. Staff needs proper attire instead of sports bar tops/shorts. Our server was nice but needs refinement; clear extra table settings, I had to ask for check. The decor is nice: I hope the restaurant does well. We will return as the food is good. One other comment, replace and clean up the decades old landscaping.

Went for the Easter dinner enjoyed time with family. My food was good. Had the fried zucchini, cheese sticks, prime rib with Sangria.

I've been going to this place since I was a child and it was Poor Richard's. Glenwood Oaks is renovating by putting in windows where the walls were. Although it does brighten up the restaurant, it loses some of the intimacy of old. Food, however, is still excellent.
