The place is nice but bathrooms where not in order, don't have a shower at least to remove sand that stays stuck. Just went this past Saturday. Beach mentioned No outside but a lady was there with her dog.

Gorgeous, great place to stoll, beautiful views. Clearly the city has invested resources into developing and maintaining this space. It is really special. Plenty of parking, beautiful waves. You can swing while watching the sunset with the skyscrapers in the distance.

What an absolutely beautiful park near Lake Michigan. On a nice clear Day you can see the skyline of Chicago. The water is nice and clear. Even though this area is surrounded by industrial plants, they really found a way to turn this place really nice. Excellent job by the city of Whiting.

Very nice lakefront park! Although there’s still some place under construction, it’s pretty enjoyable. The parking lot has plenty of space but is not for free. When facing the lake, there’s beach in the left hand side - also beautiful. When the weather is good, you can see Chicago from here. During the day we visited, the air smells a bit awkward - the only thing that I would call out here... (probably just that day)
