Went for the first time recently and sat outside. I was surprised that the ambiance was a little dated. That said, the food and wine were both good. The menu online didn't match the menu at the restaurant, however. They only actually had one of the two wines posted. In terms of service, our server was pretty unwelcoming and cold. She didn't make any attempt to be friendly - just did the bare minimum of her job. I understand it was busy but she corrected my pronunciation of a certain dish without humor, stopped by the literal second our food was dropped off and asked how it was when none of had a chance to pick up a fork yet, didn't bother to ask if we needed more wine, even though our glasses were empty (I asked a manager who was very attentive to us) and finally, when she brought it the dessert list, I ordered a sorbetto flavor and vas very rudely told it wasn't available. Shouldn't you maybe start with what isn't available when you give us menus?? There was nothing else even close to this dessert, so I wound up getting nothing and you could tell she was chomping at the bit to drop our check and get rid of us. While I enjoyed my meal, the overall experience will make me think twice about returning.

**Hoping I don't get a general reply from the owner like other reviews** The food here is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! I ordered the polpette, pollo arrosto, and flourless chocolate cake. The portion size was big enough where I was able to take leftovers home. The general vibe and decor of the interior is cozy because of the smaller space and rustic decor. The only disappointing thing is the music is way too loud where it's hard to hear others at your table and the music doesn't go with the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. If it wasn't for that I would give this place 5 stars.

Absolutely a place to go and eat for lunch. The staff was wonderful to the utmost professional attention to detail.. kitchen Staff knows there way around the kitchen food we had was amazing.. the host even went above and beyond and let me try there cappuccino and that was a great pick me up for the day.. when we are back in town we will be returning.

Great food, service and ambience. Incredible experience, was best Italian food we have had in lake county.

Parking can get a little rough during peak hours, especially on Friday/Saturday. It's usually very reasonable unless the weather isn't cooperating or there's a big event (like the Highwood art fair) competing for space. I've can't remember having to walk more than a block or so to any restaurant on this strip.
