The emergency shoulder was removed and a bike trail was put in. Now if there is one stall in the morning commute there is no way to clear it. What a joke. Urban planning TOTAL FAIL ZERO STARS

Gets congested pretty quickly during the rush hour times. Cars keep coming to a stop inside the toll booths, even though everything is automated and there are no personnel to take cash. Just keep rolling through people!

I would like to give my sincerest thanks to Badge #304 who worked the westbound 'cash only' booth' on August 6th, 2019. He was a knight in shining armour to this lost trucker. I was heading to 7th St and missed my turn and wound up at the toll plaza, where I proceeded to have a meltdown because I didn't know if I'd be able to find my way back again. Badge 304 gave me explicit directions on how to come back and I am eternally grateful to him. Signed....Lost Trucker.

Going through the Richmond Toll Plaza is usually fast and efficient except on weekends when it seems like everyone in the East Bay decides to go into the North Bay or Napa. Regardless, tool booth employees are always courteous and most offer a friendly smile to harried drivers.
