My go to favorite breakfast spot. Come early if you can, but not too early as they bake and make everything fresh every day so some items may not be available right away. Every time I visit Santa Monica I always have to make a stop here! Everything is fresh. From their English muffins to blueberry corn cake to eggs, it’s superb!

We stopped at Huckleberry Cafe on a Monday morning to pick up pastries and drinks. It wasn't too busy but not empty. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We got corn bread, gingerbread scone, chocolate croissant, and the farmers market danish. The cornbread was good but nothing mind blowing. The gingerbread scone was excellent. Really great gingerbread flavor with a nice sweet icing. The chocolate croissant was OK - it wasn't anything special. The farmers market danish was excellent - it had strawberries and some kind of white cream. Very crispy and buttery pastry with an excellent filling. We also had a really good vanilla latte and chai tea latte (the tea has a floral taste to it). This is a good spot to pick up pastries and coffee.

Absolutely fabulous food! We came in for breakfast 20 minutes after they had opened and the place was packed. They had multipl e hot dishes and an assortment of wonderful pastries. Excellent coffee drinks. And, that's just scratching the surface because they had so many more prepared meals, cakes, patisserie and lots of other pieces of deliciousness to explore. I was very impressed. the service was excellent on the staff was continuously checking whether we wear satisfied. Highly recommended!!

Oh my goodness this place is amazing. I had a late breakfast here by myself. I had a decent latte and the country breakfast. Everything was very high quality for the price. Great service as well. I will come back for sure. One thing to note is it might not be great for large groups since the tables are small, best for 2-4 people only.

There are about 4 to 5 tables outside that are dog friendly. But you may have to wait a little for these tables since you will need to order your food and then grab a table. It's not sit-first-&-then-order.
They do have vegan options and they are delicious. The price is high but so are their standards.
Yes, there is a parking lot. Just after the restaurant (east of it), turn into the alley and then right into their parking in the back.
Mask mandate even while seated any time someone approaches the table to bring food/drinks. Outdoor distanced seating. Very safe.
I do not believe their terminal accepts that method of payment. If you can call tomorrow you can confirm.
After 1 PM. It's better noon is rush hour time
Hi not sure but really worthwhile to visit and have a breakfast
I would say no. It's not as convenient as other places for brunch. Everything is on a many all a carte. If you really want to have something robust pretty pricey. Also I am not fond of a very tight crowded seating. Staff is not overly solicitous or friendly most of the time. I'd go somewhere else for brunch or even breakfast.
The restaurant is not open for service on Thanksgiving day. However, staff will he there handing out Thanksgiving dinner orders for those who placed orders before their deadline last week.
