Butter milk pancakes were out of this world. The egg set was only ok. Asked for a bowl of berries which cost $7. They only filled the little bowl half way. Later found out that there is a bowl of berries at the buffet bar where you can scoop into the bowl. Why didn’t they just scoop till full. Ambience was grand and spectacular.

We arrived late enough that all that was available was the buffet. Some of the menu breakfasts looked quite good. The buffet was satisfying but not extraordinary, but the price mostly covers the incredible atmosphere. There are few grander dining spots. The ceiling is incredible.

Amazing location and ambient but absolutely forgettable food. The meal came to about $412AUD ($260usd) which we would pay about $170 for back home with far superior quality. This place needs new chefs. Great venue otherwise and decent service.

I would give this place a higher rating, I really would. But the bland breakfast would not me. This place is beyond opulent and the atmosphere is guaranteed to never disappoint. Basically this place is like Instagram heaven and great for taking photos. Hence why the food is insanely pricey. They know the place looks good and people will pay $50 for eggs, fruits, bread, and orange juice. Kinda crazy huh? They have this buffet over the weekend which I experienced for the first time this weekend. It has a bit of everything but do not expect over the top flavors in their breakfast buffet. In a way I kind of like that it’s a bit basic and bland because sometimes in the morning I don’t want to have such a heavy breakfast. Anyways always love coming here and taking pictures while eating $50 scrambled eggs lol. I’ve been coming here for years so don’t let this review fool you. I will for sure continue coming back to this place. Food is decent and atmosphere is amazing.

Vegetarian options for sure, but I didn't see any vegan ones (for breakfast at least).
Yes, the only thing I didn't like is the wait time and also being seated at the edge near the lounge . You might as well sit in the lounge, it's the same room but an ala carte menu for a lower price. The old Garden court had a more elegant ambience.
Price varies depending on menu selection but assume $60 per person. Signature High Tea is Saturday 1pm to 2:30pm. Reservation recommended. Call the Palace Hotel.
GOOD MORNING MARY! NOT AT ALL. I WORE JEANS, BLOUSE & TALL BOOTS. I SAW A FEW PEOPLE IN SNEAKERS. HOPE THIS HELPS! GOD BLESS YOU!
GOOD EVENING ROBERTA! THE COST WAS $27 PER PERSON FOR SATURDAY BRUNCH. NORMALLY THE COST IS $49 BUT BECAUSE OF THE STRIKE IT WAS DISCOUNTED. WE DIDNT NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCE IN THE FOOD SELECTION. IT WAS DELICIOUS AS USUSAL. WE LIVE LOCALLY SO WE DIDN'T STAY AT THE HOTEL. HAPPY HOLIDAYS & GOD BLESS!
They do serve lunch
