I always stop at Felker Foods when I'm in Byron. This last visit visit I stopped at the deli counter it was quarter to 6 pn and they are supposed to close at 6 PM. I asked to be waited on was told that they were closed already. I finished my shopping when I got up front I asked to speak to a manager instead I got the Shift Lead who was very polite and agreed with me that this was unacceptable. She then went back to deli and got me exactly what I wanted. The two employees that were back there deserve some kind of consequence. The gentleman was older and bald, the female had long blonde hair and was wearing a black shirt. This happened on May 7, 2022.

I've been shopping here for years. You find something in their deli that you really like and then they change the recipe. Their biscuits and gravy WERE delicious ; now,not good at all. I've been trying to get their delicious chili for weeks. Finally ordered it and picked it up. Someone decided to change that recipe now and it is a bland disappointment. I would expect better from Felker's.

Small. Older feeling. Produce was fresh, didn't see anything going bad. Safe and easy to get to. Not a lot of options and prices are high, but it is a small town off the beaten path so delivery is low on the list of priority for suppliers. Would be awesome to see more local products and definitely need more options/items for those on special food plans.
