Do not move here . The staff puts a great effort into acting as if they are concerned, but truly they are not . I would not have moved here if I knew it was going to be under new management. Artessa management was very charismatic this new company only cares about money . To begin I moved in October 26th , 2020 with no notice it was bought out by a previous company I applied to , and was told I was denied I knew there could be no way so I took it up with management, had to leave a review just to get help this company is very bias so good luck applying here if your black you may not meet there “ community guidelines “ the area manager days later reached out days later an told me there was a mistake an the new hire processed things incorrectly but trust me there was no mistake that’s how she was trained . The James apartments takes no initiative I’ve explained all my concerns from interior painting to my tilted kitchen counter , my outside porch ledge is shaky and very unsteady my bathroom & bedroom has so many defects they took a walk through an never came back everything has been documented it’s crazy I pay nearly 1800 every month an they fail to fix things they are responsible for that’s what happens when you take over management. I’m just so over it I stopped reaching out it’s a waste of time so I’ve just been dealing with everything if you want quality you have to upgrade which is 2100 , make 2.5 times the rent lol it’s insane really so good luck the community is quiet that’s what I can say positive except I barely get sleep I live above an apartment with a dog that never stops barking 😪 other that that don’t move her unless you absolutely need a roof over your head 🤷🏾‍♀️.

I had absolutely no problems at all here. Any maintenance request I submitted was immediately acknowledged and handled. All of the ladies in the office, Rocia, Alisa, and Priscilla were absolutely the nicest and most helpful people I have ever dealt with in the apt community world. Seriously, these ladies went over and beyond to help assist me. I lived here for approx 1.5 years and loved every minute. If i had to find something to complain about, it would have to be the gardners being there with their loud equip 3 days a week 7-8 am. Even then, when i told the office, they requested the gardners start on other side of complex, avoiding my area until 9. Very accommodating! Thx eveyone

I’d like to start of by saying that Rocio and Priscilla are both amazing managers. My sister and I moved in a few weeks ago and they have been extremely helpful and understanding during this time. It is our first time moving out and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The community is nice and quiet for the most part and the maintenance people get on it right away when you submit a work order. They have a pool and gym area, can’t wait for the gym to open! Overall, definitely recommend this place to anyone. At first I thought it was too good to be true but out experience has been exceptional. Thank you so much Artessa management team, you ladies are amazing!

I just moved in to Artessa over the weekend and I really love where I live. The move in process was easy and was a smooth transition. Priscilla and her staff are very professional and pleasant. I am looking forward to thoroughly enjoying the property once I get settled in.
